Hi everyone. Here are some photo's from our trip to California in March and my Dad's visit to Portland. My Great Grandma was 105 in the photo with Devin, but as of this week she is 106! The picture with Devin in a white sweater is the same sweater that Kyle wore when he was a baby .. can you imagine that? My Dad had a great time visiting and enjoyed spending time and caring for Devin. We are enjoying every day so much as new parents. Devin is such a lovable and curious kiddo. Off to the zoo today .. we'll have to post more pics later. Love you. ~Spring

Update: Devin turned 19 weeks today

Sorry for not posting for the last 4 months.  Our life has been full of discovery, fun, and excitement. We just find it hard to sit at our computer.  Not much time right now.

Devin has grown and changed so much over the past two months.  He is just starting to roll over.  He wants to sit more than anything.  The best part of his development right now is how much he is talking and laughing.  I come home from work and tell him about a bad meeting and he laughs so hard.  It is the perfect therapy.

First week at home

We have had a great first week and a half with Devin.  Every day we look at this guy in amazement. So far we can honestly say we are having fun figuring this out.  Of course we have had ups and downs.  And very little sleep.  But it is still fun.

Devin has amazed us with some of his development in the first week.  At 5 days old Devin began holding his head up.  He does not do it for very long, but he does it.  Devin also rolled over from his tummy to his back at 1 week old.  He does that almost every day now.  He can roll to his side while on his back.  Soon he will make it all the way over.  He loves to kick his legs vigorously and practice baby kung fu with his arms (as you can see in the picture below).

Nesting has kicked in big time. 30 degrees out side and we are vacuuming the car.

T minus 13 days and counting...

Peanut is set to arrive in the next 13 days.  In our last appointment, the doctor stated she did not think Spring will go past the due date.  We will post some photos of Peanut's room soon.
